Welcome Message

On behalf of the organizing committee, it is with great honor that we welcome you all to SASEM 2020. This 5th version of the assembly will be hosted in Al Khobar, an urban city located on the shores of the Arabian Gulf. A city that maintains a great infrastructure, which is necessary for a commercial city and offers a lot of recreational and cultural sites.

We are happy that this will be the first Emergency conference to be held in the Kingdom after the evolution and granting of the tourist Visa for international attendees. We promise our international and national attendees that we are preparing an enriched scientific program, as well as an amazing program to explore the cities and culture of the Eastern Province of the Kingdom.

As we work on improving our knowledge in the field of Emergency Medicine, we also promote health and well-being. We encourage our attendees and their families to sign-up for the “Fun Run”, where everyone can get fit, challenge themselves, raise awareness and funds for a good cause.

On behalf of SASEM 2020 Scientific Committee, it is an honor & a privilege to welcome you all to the Saudi Arabian Society of Emergency Medicine 5th International Scientific Assembly (SASEM2020), this time around, in the vibrant Eastern Region.

Endorsed by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM), this 5th scientific assembly is the largest Emergency Medicine event in the country.

This conference goes to the heart of all matters related to Emergency Medicine, allowing you to hear and meet those at the forefront of our practice. It brings together some highly respected internationally renowned speakers. Some of whom travelled from the other edge of the globe, some travelled from the other edges of the country, and some were just around the corner, but they chose to spend their precious time to share their knowledge & expertise with you & me.
